The Eye Behind the Lens
I'm David, a Lancashire-based photographer with a passion for live music and the art of capturing the moments that make a performance unforgettable. From the flash of a guitar solo to the hush before a symphony swells, I've spent years finding the decisive moment in the chaos and beauty of live performance.
What started as a love of music became a career built around it. I've shot intimate club nights and festival main stages, orchestral concerts and rock gigs, charity events and arena shows — and every single one has reminded me why I picked up a camera in the first place.
I'm the official photographer for singer-songwriter Roxianna Blue, the Preston Symphony Orchestra, Central Radio, and Rock Project Preston, and I work regularly with 12th House Music Solutions Ltd. Every client gets the same thing: full commitment, a sharp eye, and images that genuinely do justice to what happened on that stage.
I shoot with Canon professional equipment and am a proud member of the Royal Photographic Society, The Societies of Photographers, Canon Professional Services, and the Disabled Photographers' Society.
Based in, Lancashire, I cover the North West as my home territory — but I'll travel anywhere the music takes me.
