I'm David, a Preston-based photographer specialising in live music, concert and gig photography. With an instinct for the decisive moment — the arched guitar, the closed-eye vocal, the crowd in rapture — David turns fleeting performances into lasting images.
Shooting across the full spectrum of live music, from intimate grassroots venues like The Ferret and Bootleg Social in Preston through to full arena productions, David brings the same commitment to every show: get the shot that tells the story.
My editorial work appears with The Rockpit, and I serves as official photographer for singer-songwriter Roxianna Blue, the Preston Symphony Orchestra, Rock Project Preston, and Central Radio — covering rock, blues, indie, and jazz across the North West and beyond.
A member of the Royal Photographic Society, The Societies of Photographers, Canon Professional Services, and the Disabled Photographers' Society, David brings both technical mastery and genuine passion to every shoot. He shoots with a Canon EOS R5, built for the demands of fast-moving, low-light performance environments.
